Description

A former cemetery Horburgpark -just called "Horbi" by locals - was one of the first parks in Basel established in the 1950's.  It has a large grass field with a small playground. The best feature is the large 3 lane cement slide and the large shallow outdoor pool.  a small pool, rest rooms and mostly grass and trees.

In addition, the park has a dirt mountain bike trail called the "Horburg Trail", a Robi Spielplatz, and a fenced in dog park with obstacle course.

​Tip: Bring large cardboard for siding faster down cement slides.
