DescriptionRobi Bachgraben is an adventure playground in the Iselin district of Basel It is a lovely play space with something for all ages to enjoy. It is a community center with an outdoor playground, grassy field, sand/water play, large pirate ship, several connected tree houses, sports, and indoor tinkering room. Toy rental also available.
The tall tree houses that connect to form obstacles you have to manage to get from one to the next look quite death defying but many children navigated them expertly. For the less adventurous there is an underground tunnel network that is fun to to run through, hide in, and explore. The coolest part was this crazy giant twirling sea saw type structure that kids were sitting on or dangling from as it teetered high in the sky and twirled around. On any given day you may observe a group of children, who had fashioned their own swords from wood, chasing each other in and out of the castles and having sword fights. Or a group of kids crowded around a makeshift enclosed soccer court cheering on the boys and girls playing. This park really has the feeling of community between the children playing here. |
