DescriptionThe Robi Daronga is an adventure playground in Binningen tucked away next to a lovely creek where you will find children playing on the banks. Once inside you discover a playground filled with a labyrinth of wood cabins and tree houses for kids to climb up one and into another before sliding or jumping back down. Climbing a light house and cross a bridge puts you inside a giant wooden ship with a deck on top and a fire burning oven down below. The whole yard is filled with so many other nooks and crannies it beggs for a game of hide and seek. There is a hand water pump pouring into a sandbox filled with toys, a wide array of skateboards, bikes, sporting equipment, and even roller skates.
Inside the cottage building is a place to relax and have a snack. You can find shelves stocked with toys & games, a small reading nook, fusbol tables, and wood workshops. On the other side of the playground is a lovely farm. At 3pm each day the children are welcome to help feed the animals. They can enjoy feeding the exotic and beautiful chickens, brush one of the many pigs, or go inside the giant enclosure to feed carrots to the rabbits and guinea pigs. A special tree house for girls is in the back and has a nice view down over the farm.
